Centre of Engagement eXcellence: You may be familiar with a CoE or Centre of Excellence which is effectively a central point for best practices, consistency for operational projects and programs predominantly geared towards delivery. A COEX takes this one step further and involves all aspects of collaboration between Decided, you, partners and vendors to ensure a single source of truth, governance, understanding and single reference point for clarity and escalations is held.
A COEX is typically used for medium and large engagements or ones requiring multiple programs / projects to keep the transit of communication, planning, forward planning and ongoing delivery on track. A COEX also embeds a reassuring “one voice” approach when coordinating activities across multiple disparate stakeholders or departments / programs / projects that retain integrity, consistency, and best practice.
A COEX is a group of representatives across your organisation (or we can supply a team who will perform those roles and partner with your internal teams accordingly) to ensure aligned priorities and unified technology / process / workflow approaches that serve your business needs and strategic objectives.
The function of a COEX is to keep your goals clear and ensure maximum positive impact, reduce duplication of efforts, reduce transformation and change costs whilst increasing ROI and TTV.
